Style: Pale Ale
Brewed by: Cloudwater
ABV: 5%
Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt, citrus/tropical hops, with some herbal, dank and slightly piney accents. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity malt, and fruity, herbal/earthy, dank and resinous hops, with some rather zesty citrus notes of grapefruit and lime peel, a bit of sweet pineapple and tangy mango, as well as just a hint of pine.
Finishes with a medium bitterness and some citrus and a distinct dankness lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is another fantastic example of Cloudwater doing what they do best, mixing up juicy fruits with dank, herbal, earthy and resinous notes, while the herbal dankness is particularly pronounced here, with some lovely citrus/tropical notes as well and just a hint of pine.
Just a terrific balance, making for a very flavorful and unique drinking experience, while also sporting a marvelous body and mouthfeel for the ABV. A truly superb Pale Ale.
